Could sertraline prevent depressive disorders following TBI?

Researchers from the Baylor College of Medicine (TX, USA) have presented results from a clinical trial investigating whether sertraline, an antidepressant, is effective at preventing the onset of depressive disorders following traumatic brain injury (TBI). Results suggest that the treatment reduce risk of depression following TBI, though the authors highlight the need for further investigation.
