Could Krabbe’s disease provide insight into neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s?

In a recent commentary, authors from the University of Illinois at Chicago (IL, USA) have postulated a potential link between the rare disorder Krabbe’s disease and late-onset neurodegenerative diseases.
