Researchers from the University of Colorado Boulder (UC Boulder; CO, USA) have discovered a neural signature for fibromyalgia that demonstrates a 93% accuracy in diagnosis. This new development could mark a breakthrough for the diagnosis and treatment of the condition, which is traditionally difficult to diagnose due to an overlap of symptoms with other chronic illnesses and a lack of well-characterized pathology.
