Artificial intelligence comes of age for gerontology research

The Chief Science Officer of the Biogerontology Research Foundation (BGRF; Cornwall, UK) has presented new research on artificial intelligence (AI) for drug discovery at the NVIDIA Graphics Technology Conference (San Jose, CA, USA, 8–11 May 2017), which may have use in the development of new drugs against neurodegenerative disease and other age-related disorders. The presentation was alongside AI scientists from Insilico Medicine (MD, USA) and discussed generative adversarial networks (GANs) in drug discovery.
