Cannabis treatment reverses aging processes in the brains of mice

Researchers from the University of Bonn (Bonn, Germany) and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Jerusalem, Israel) have reported that cannabis could be effective at reversing aging processes in the brain. The study demonstrated that aging mice could regress to the neurological state of 2-month-old mice following a prolonged low-dose treatment where cannabis was the active ingredient. The findings have been published in Nature Medicine and could open up new avenues for how dementia can be treated.
