According to scientists at Rush University Medical Center (IL, USA), a low-dose regimen of aspirin may reduce Alzheimer’s-related amyloid plaques in the brain – indicating a potential new role for this medication. The researchers believe that this could reduce Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathology and protect memory.
