Early Career Panelist: Marc Goldfinger


Biomedical Research Scientist, Imperial College London Marc Goldfinger recently completed his PhD thesis investigating boxers with chronic traumatic encephalopathy. His research focus in general is on traumatic brain injury and neurodegeneration. Marc’s recent projects have included work on the Corsellis Boxer collection, creating a novel tissue clearing technique ‘FASTClear’ and clinical neuropathology. Marc’s recent work has been focused on the role of the vasculature in traumatic brain injury and dementia, with a focus on the gliovascular unit.
