Vision-related brain cells mimicked using nanoscale device

A team from the University of Central Florida (FL, USA) has developed a novel device that can simultaneously process and memorize information in a similar way to vision-related human brain cells. The research, published in Science Advances, suggests potential applications for the device. Currently, computer performance is limited by storing and processing information in separate places.
