Dementia exercise programs may not slow cognitive decline, study indicates

In a recent study published in The BMJ, researchers have revealed that moderate-to-high intensity exercise does not slow cognitive impairment in older individuals with dementia.

According to the researchers, although the exercise program improved physical fitness, it cannot be recommended as a treatment option for cognitive impairment in dementia.
