Four researchers have been jointly awarded the prestigious Lundbeck Foundation Brain Prize in recognition of their contributions to our understanding of Alzheimer’s disease. While development of clinical interventions for Alzheimer’s disease remains a struggle, our understanding of the disease and its mechanisms has been revolutionized over the past 30 years.
