Eric Thelin is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Karolinska Institutet (Solna, Sweden) and Neurology Registrar at Karolinska University Hospital (Stockholm, Sweden). Throughout his career, his interest has revolved around research that may swiftly optimize the clinical environment in neuro-critical care of severely brain injured patients. While he is conducting his training at present, his goal is to work clinically with neuro-critical care patients in the future. Eric’s main research focus is on brain protein biomarkers, but he also focuses on blood–brain barrier pathology, traumatic brain injury (TBI) management, imaging, neurometabolism, neuroinflammation and neuromonitoring.
