Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia support and research charity, providing support and services for people affected by all forms of dementia and funding groundbreaking research. Our research programme focuses on finding treatments for dementia, improving our understanding of how to prevent dementia and improving care for people living with the condition today. We also focus on building capacity in dementia research and supporting our funded researchers, including providing a mentoring scheme for fellows. We have pledged £150 million to our research programme over the next decade, including £50 million for UK’s first dedicated Dementia Research Institute.
