Cannabis has been reported as being the most commonly used drug of abuse by adolescents in the world. Although the impact of adolescent cannabis use on the development of psychosis has gained a lot of focus, there has been less attention on the impact of cannabis on mood and suicidality in young adulthood. Researchers from the University of Oxford (UK) and McGill University (Montreal, Canada) have carried out a systematic review and meta-analysis of 23,317 individuals (from 11 international studies) to see whether the use of cannabis in young people is associated with depression, anxiety and suicidality in early adulthood....
