Stroke may be linked to increased depression risk

Researchers from Copenhagen University (Denmark) have conducted a meta-analysis on data from seven nationwide registers to determine how risk of depression and stroke may be linked. They observed that risk of depression is eight times higher in those who have suffered a stroke compared with a reference population.
