Essential tremor patient successfully treated with MR-guided focused ultrasound treatment

A multidisciplinary team of doctors from Pennsylvania Hospital (PA, USA) has treated a patient with essential tremor (ET) using a MR-guided focused ultrasound technique – the first in the state.  The patient, a 61 year old man who has suffered from bilateral ET for approximately 10 years, is now tremor-free in his right hand.
