Pandemic perspectives: COVID-19

With the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 and subsequently, the COVID-19 pandemic, researchers have been publishing a wide array of articles to help further our understanding of the virus. In line with this, several questions have emerged in the field of neurology, including whether or not patients hospitalized with COVID-19 have neurological manifestations, or whether having neurological symptoms alongside COVID-19 means individuals are at risk of more severe disease.

Although much discussion has taken place around these topics, there are limited data confirming these concerns. As such, we wanted to explore a different angle to the pandemic by asking people how it has impacted them. Bringing together a 360° view, we’ve collected responses from researchers, clinicians, charities, the publishing sector and people living with neurological diseases to better understand how different people and sectors are being affected. Keep checking back as we update this page in the coming weeks.
