Novel blood–brain barrier model looks to shake-up drug delivery research
A team of researchers from the University of Portsmouth (UK) has presented a novel in vitro model of the blood–brain barrier (BBB) capable of real-time analysis. The new model could aid in the development of new drugs and delivery systems for a wide range of diseases affecting the brain.
