Mobile technology has revolutionized communication in many professions including, finance, engineering, education and healthcare. In 2014, 64% of Americans owned a smartphone, 90% owned a cell phone, 32% owned an e-reader and 42% owned a tablet computer [1]. These numbers are expected to increase in the next decade and the healthcare field has been implementing mobile technology that has the potential to radically change the field.
