Here, we asked corresponding authors of the study, Sabina Quader (Kawasaki Institute of Industrial Promotion, Japan) and Rosalía Rodríguez-Rodríguez (Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, Spain), about what inspired them to write this review, including which active-targeting strategy discussed in their article has the most potential as a future therapy.
