Novel target gene identified for PTSD treatment

A study carried out at the Saban Research Institute of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA; CA, USA) has identified a novel candidate gene that could act as a target for neurobiological and treatment studies of fear acquisition in trauma- and stress-related disorders such as PTSD. Findings were published in the Journal of Neuroscience.
