Tara Spires-Jones is a Professor of Neurodegeneration at the University of Edinburgh (UK). Tara is also the Deputy Director of the Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences, a Group Leader at the UK Dementia Research Institute and the founding Editor-in-Chief of Brain Communications, a translational neuroscience journal that is the Open Access sister journal of Brain. In addition to this, Tara also runs a lab group of around 15 fantastic students, technicians and postdocs.
